Wolters Kluwer, the company that provides

TaxWise Software

, has been around for generations.  The company itself operates at a global scale and provides information, software and services for professionals in various industries: legal, business, tax, accounting, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and healthcare professionals.  The company is located in Kennesaw, GA.

TaxWise Noteworthy Features

TaxWise functionality is simple to use yet the software is basic in terms of its features. Additionally, some of the software features are not uniform across both the Web & Desktop versions. However, there are notable convenient features of the software that include: the diagnostics tool which allows the preparer to easily find and correct any E-filing errors, the “What if?” mode that tests a variety of tax scenarios, and over 60 bilingual forms for Spanish-speaking clients.

It is our opinion that TaxWise lacks innovation in key areas in comparison to 2018’s Top Ranked Professional Tax Software (see Comparison Chart). Although TaxWise delivers on functionality, there is definite room for improvement in the areas of hardware integrations and keeping up with technological advances.
